وارتبط إيدرسون في الفترة الأخيرة بإمكانية الرحيل عن صفوف بطل الدوري الإنجليزي، هذا الصيف.

ويسعى النصر إلى تعزيز مركز حراسة المرمى مع اقتراب رحيل ديفيد أوسبينا، وهو الأمر الذي يعني عدم وجود حارس أول في النادي السعودي قبل الموسم الجديد.
ويُعد إيدرسون هو الهدف الأول بالنسبة لنادي النصر، ولكن الإدارة السعودية قررت البحث عن بديل محتمل حال الفشل في إتمام تلك الصفقة.
ووفقًا لما ذكرته شبكة “لـCaughtOffside” الإنجليزية، فإن النصر حدد بديلًا لـ إيدرسون من الدوري السعودي، وهو حارس أستون فيلا إيميليانو مارتينيز.
وتمكن مارتينيز من تقديم أداء رائع مع أستون فيلا، الموسم الماضي، وساهم في قيادة الفريق إلى التأهل لبطولة دوري أبطال أوروبا.
وأشارت إلى أن عملية التعاقد مع إيميليانو مارتينيز لن تكون سهلة، حيث يمثل جزءًا أساسيًا بالنسبة لـ أستون فيلا، ومن ثم فإن النادي الإنجليزي لن يرحب برحيله.

Glasgow Rangers will be hoping to forget the opening few weeks of their season as the Premiership resumes tomorrow following the international break.
Michael Beale has led his side to just four wins from the opening nine matches of the 2023/24 campaign and this is simply not good enough, both domestically and in Europe.
The nine summer arrivals haven’t quite gelled into the squad yet and with pressure building, Beale will have to get results, and fast, if he hopes to keep his job beyond Christmas.
In truth, the Light Blues transfer business in recent years hasn’t exactly been up to scratch. Of course, there have been a few hidden gems, such as Joe Aribo, Todd Cantwell, and summer arrival Jack Butland, but vast sums of money have been spent on players who failed to live up to expectations at the club.
Defender Ben Davies certainly falls under the latter category as his spell in Glasgow has proven to be a big disappointment so far, despite first impressions of the player being largely positive.
How much did Rangers sign Ben Davies for?
The Englishman arrived at Ibrox last summer for a fee of £4m from Liverpool, and it looked like a solid piece of business by Giovanni van Bronckhorst, especially with Calvin Bassey and Leon Balogun departing the Gers, leaving them short in defence.
Anfield boss Jurgen Klopp even heaped praise on Davies, saying: “It’s a smart piece of recruitment from Giovanni van Bronckhorst, to be honest. Perfect for all parties. He has himself an accomplished defender, who is entering his peak years and whose character is top drawer.
“We wish Ben nothing but the success he deserves and will be following from here as he goes on to make many achievements during the rest of his career.”
High praise indeed from the German and the Ibrox faithful would certainly have been buoyed at hearing these words, yet it turned out to be a false dawn.
How good was Ben Davies?
Van Bronckhorst was clearly pleased with Davies’ performances for Sheffield United during the 2021/22 campaign, spending a period on loan at the Blades from Liverpool.

Across the whole season, Davies ranked second in the squad for accurate passes per game (48.7), while also ranking fourth for interceptions (1.4) and fifth for clearances (2.6) per game, demonstrating that he was highly adept at passing out from the back and starting attacks.
Indeed, across the three and half seasons before he moved to the Reds, Davies ranked in the top three among his Preston North End teammates for accurate passes, even topping the pile during the first half of the 2020/21 season and this attribute clearly impressed the Dutchman.
Unfortunately, it didn’t go quite to plan for the 28-year-old during his maiden season at the Gers, and he has certainly slipped down the pecking order following a series of poor performances.
How did Ben Davies perform at Rangers?
Despite arriving for a significant fee, Davies started only once for the Gers up until the international break at the start of September, a routine win over St Johnstone.
He also missed the opening two matches of the Champions League campaign, although when he returned for the ties against Liverpool and the away match against Napoli, he failed to have any positive influence whatsoever.
Over these three matches, the centre-back averaged a SofaScore rating of 6.23, kept zero clean sheets, lost possession 10.3 times per game and averaged only one tackle per game, and this resulted in the Gers conceding 12 goals.
When Van Bronckhorst was sacked and Beale took over last November, it was looked upon as a fresh start for not just Davies, but the rest of the squad following the horrendous start to the season.
The former Anfield defender even managed to play a part in all but four matches under the former QPR boss, and it looked as though a partnership between him and Connor Goldson was going to be the norm ahead of the 2023/24 season.
The statistics tell a different story however, as Davies ranked way down in 14th position for Sofascore rating (6.94) across the whole squad for his league displays while he also ranked 16th for tackles (0.9), seventh for interceptions (0.8) and fifth for accurate passes (50.7), suggesting that he failed to improve the current squad.
With the title slipping from Rangers’ grasp, his performance against Celtic in the penultimate Old Firm league clash of the season was criticised.
With the tie finely poised at 1-1, Davies managed to stop a cross from Joto heading into the penalty area yet he failed to clear the ball properly on the byline, and it led to the winger setting up Kyogo Furuhashi to score Celtic’s second of the afternoon.
Former Gers frontman Kenny Miller stated his view of the goal, and he wasn’t exactly complimentary about the defender, saying: “It’s a wonderful finish. Again he’s alert, alive, ruthless when the chance drops.
“But it’s so poor from Ben Davies. He should be heading that out.”
Kirk Broadfoot, another former Gers alumni, also criticised Davies, saying: "Davies is someone who looks like he is good with the ball at his feet, but I don't know if he is really aggressive enough.
"He can get rolled and bullied sometimes in the middle, and I would be tempted to play him at left centre-back of a three or even left-back.”
Does Ben Davies have a future at Rangers?
Goldson has formed a solid duo at the heart of the defence with a rejuvenated John Souttar this term, which has led to Davies making zero appearances across the opening nine matches of 2023/24.

The club rejected an offer from Stoke City during the dying embers of the transfer window, as the Championship side were looking at just signing him on loan rather than a permanent deal.
He has been included in the Europa League squad for the group-stage ties, but it remains to be seen whether he will see any game time or not.
Initial impressions of the player were good and having splashed £4m on him, the supporters certainly expected a defender of that value to perform well.
It hasn’t worked out nearly as well as first anticipated, and although he is still currently at the Gers, it looked as though he was close to departing during the summer.
The next few months until the January transfer window will be crucial, but if he fails to impress, Beale may decide to cash in during the middle of the season.

Glasgow Rangers return to domestic action this afternoon following their 1-0 win over Real Betis in the Europa League on Thursday evening.
Michael Beale will be looking to secure the Gers their third straight win for the first time this season and a home tie against Motherwell in the Premiership represents the perfect chance for another three points.
The second half of the Betis tie was arguably the best display by the Ibrox side, totally dominating the La Liga outfit and Beale will hope that the team can carry this momentum into today’s match.
Due to the quick turnaround between games, there will likely be a few changes to the starting XI and this could potentially see Ryan Jack come back in as Tom Lawrence was substituted with an injury against the Spanish side.
How did Ryan Jack perform vs Real Betis?
The Scottish midfielder didn’t start the match as Beale went with a 4-2-3-1 formation, deploying Jose Cifuentes and John Lundstram at the base of the midfield as Jack had to settle for a spot on the sidelines.
He did emerge from the bench with just ten minutes remaining to take the place of the Ecuadorian and enjoyed a decent cameo display.
During his short spell on the pitch, Jack won five out of five ground duels while making four tackles as he demonstrated his defensive abilities which preserved the Gers' slender 1-0 advantage and with Lawrence looking like he may miss the match today, Jack should be deployed in a midfield three alongside Cifuentes and Lundstram.
How has Ryan Jack performed for Rangers this season?
The £12k-per-week gem has been at the club since 2017 and former manager Steven Gerrard heaped praise on him back in 2020, saying: “He does everything right at the gym, he eats well and he trains and prepares every single day for the game at the weekend or midweek. So it’s no surprise that Ryan finds that level of consistency because he does everything right.”

There is no doubt he could do 'everything right' against the Steelmen again today. The 31-year-old has played three league matches so far this term and has won 60% of his ground duels while recovering 3.3 balls per game, which is even more impressive considering he has averaged just 35 minutes per game.
He will add some much-needed solidity into the midfield and his presence could give Cifuentes a licence to perhaps push further forward and try to create plenty of chances.
Squad rotation will be key due to the demands of European football and being able to call on a player such as Jack is an added bonus for Beale.
The Scot has already shown he is comfortable on the ball, averaging 27 touches during his spell on the pitch and with the Gers likely to control possession today, he will be crucial in dictating play.
Another three points will come as a welcome relief for Beale and will set them up nicely for the League Cup quarter-final tie against Livingston in midweek, a competition which they have an excellent chance of winning for the first time since 2011.

A “tibial bone stress fracture in his right leg” has ruled Australia fast bowler Mitchell Starc out of the fourth Test against South Africa, and the IPL, which starts on April 7 in Mumbai. Starc’s injury has added to a series of horrible news for Australia after the ball-tampering controversy, which most recently saw Darren Lehmann’s announcement to step down as their coach after the ongoing Test in Johannesburg.Starc will fly home after the fourth Test for further assessment. His injury handed a Test debut to Chadd Sayers on Friday, which was the fourth change in the Australia XI with Steven Smith, David Warner Cameron Bancroft having flown back home.Starc’s injury has added to Kolkata Knight Riders’ worries too, who bought him for nearly USD 1.47 million in January. Knight Riders are already waiting on injury updates for Chris Lynn and Andre Russell, and an update on Sunil Narine, whose action was reported during the PSL earlier this month. Having seen their six-game unbeaten run in the Championship ended at the weekend, promotion hopefuls Leeds United got back to winning ways after seeing off Queen's Park Rangers on Wednesday night, courtesy of an early strike from Crysencio Summerville.
While the 21-year-old sensation enjoyed a fine evening after bagging his second league goal of the season, it proved to be a far more difficult affair for fellow Dutchman, Joel Piroe, with the summer signing having struggled to make his mark in his number ten berth.
As Leeds Live's Beren Cross noted following that 1-0 win, "questions linger on how Piroe's being used" by manager Daniel Farke, with the prolific asset – who scored 41 league goals across the last two seasons combined for Swansea City – having not exactly sparkled of late.
How did Joel Piroe perform against QPR?
As Farke himself admitted with regard to the 24-year-old, he "didn't have his best day" in attack as he was ultimately hooked just after the hour mark, having been restricted to 28 touches in total on the night – fewer than teammate Illan Meslier (40) in the sticks.
The one-time PSV Eindhoven asset was almost entirely ineffective in his playmaking role behind Georginio Rutter, having failed to provide a single key pass, while also failing to complete either of his two attempted dribbles and losing possession on seven occasions.
Such woes were only compounded by the fact that the 6 foot 2 marksman – who was signed on a £12m deal this summer – was also something of a liability off the ball after winning none of his five total duels.
As the aforementioned Cross noted, it was 'another game where it didn't stick for the Dutchman', while Yorkshire Evening Post's Graham Smyth even went as far as to suggest that it was a 'sluggish performance' from the former Netherlands U21 international against Gareth Ainsworth's men.
There will be supporters who are 'left wondering again about this experiment with him behind a striker' – in the words of Cross – with that 'experiment' having not totally gone to plan of late.
How has Joel Piroe performed this season?
On the face of it, the marque signing has certainly made his mark after already netting four times following his move to Yorkshire, with that a greater tally than any other Leeds player has achieved so far this term.
Such prowess in front of goal could suggest that the versatile asset is more adept at lining up in his usual centre-forward berth, however, rather than as the link man, particularly having also disappointed against Southampton on Saturday.

As Cross wrote following that dismal 3-1 loss, Piroe 'did not help in any way, shape or form' despite the midfield duo behind him having been 'overrun', while his efforts in attack were also 'fluffed, tame or non-existent', further rubberstamping his lack of impact.
While it looks as if Farke will continue to persist with that combination of Rutter and Piroe – as The Athletic's Phil Hay revealed – there must be a consideration as to whether it would be worth finding a new solution over the coming weeks and months.
Who could replace Piroe as a number ten?
In truth, Farke's hand may well have been somewhat forced due to the fact that there are few standout options to slot into that creative berth, with Brenden Aaronson, for instance, having been shipped out on loan to Union Berlin over this summer.
With experienced Spaniard, Rodrigo also no longer at the club – and with Sam Greenwood having joined Middlesbrough on a temporary basis – it is difficult to see just where an alternative can be found to help get the forward line truly clicking into gear.
One possible candidate could well be that of Joe Gelhardt, although the 21-year-old has largely been on the periphery under Farke so far this term, failing to even make it off the bench in each of the last four games.

As such, it may be wise to look to the academy ranks instead, with another former Wigan Athletic gem currently catching the eye in the form of Sean McGurk.
How good is Sean McGurk?
While the 20-year-old may be a winger by trade, he has operated in an attacking midfield berth in four of his six Premier League 2 appearances so far this term, proving his credentials as the man to oust Piroe from that role in Farke's senior set-up.
The emerging talent has thrived in that central role of late after already scoring three times and registering one assist in the competition to date, taking his total tally for the club's U21 side to nine goals and five assists in 46 games across all fronts.
Such a rampant start to the new season even saw the Liverpool-born dynamo voted Leeds' Player of the Month at that age group for September, with it coming to a point where the young whiz may prove hard to ignore as far as Farke is concerned.
As the player has himself admitted, he is someone who can be "exciting" in attack and be something of a difference-maker, having stated at the time of his arrival at Elland Road back in 2021:
“People describe me as a player who is quite exciting, I like to create goals and score goals and I think that is the strongest part of my game."
There is seemingly a "lot to like" about the precocious ace – as the aforementioned Smyth previously suggested – while U21s boss Michael Skubala has claimed that he's "definitely a talent on the ball".
While young McGurk does seemingly need to work on his "all-round game", according to Skubala, it should not be too long before a first chance to impress at first-team level does present itself, particularly with Farke not exactly blessed with too much depth in the attacking unit.
That deserved promotion could then allow Piroe to be re-housed in his favoured striking berth, bringing an end to an experiment that has proved mixed results so far.
