– O Vasco tem que continuar ganhando as próximas rodadas. Quando tiver com 99% de chance de acesso, aí poderemos falar matematicamente sobre quando a equipe conseguirá garantir o acesso antecipado. Former Tottenham Hotspur captain Gary Mabbutt has told Football FanCast that Dane Scarlett can push on and become a first-team player in north London.

The teenager has signed his first professional contract at the club, which runs until 2023.

The deal had been in place but Scarlett could not officially formalise his future until he turned 17.

The striker has been in brilliant form for the youth squads, scoring 15 goals in 13 games for the Under-18s in their Premier League this season.

An England U16 international, who scored a brace on his debut, he has made a total of 22 appearances for the development squads, scoring 23 goals.

He has also played three times for the senior squad, totalling 17 minutes in the Europa League and a minute in the Premier League, even laying on an assist in the 4-0 win over Wolfsberger.

Mabbutt believes that he can grow and develop during his time at Tottenham, and thinks he will be a fixture in the first-team for some time to come.

Asked about his new contract, he told FFC: “Every level he’s played at for us, his development is continuing at a very high level.

“He’s got the attitude, he’s got the character, the determination. And as far as his abilities, I think they’re unquestionable.

“So I’m delighted to see him getting his first full contract. And he’s a player that will be pushing to get through to that first team level on a consistent basis.”

كشفت صحيفة “فاناتيك” التركية عن اقتراب نادٍ من الدوري التركي من التعاقد مع جناح منتخب مصر والفريق الأول لكرة القدم بنادي أستون فيلا، محمود حسن تريزيجيه، خلال الأيام المقبلة خاصة وأن الميركاتو الشتوي في تركيا ينتهي يوم 8 فبراير.

وعاد تريزيجيه من إصابة بقطع في الرباط الصليبي قبل أسابيع قليلة بعد غياب دام أكثر من 8 أشهر مع أستون فيلا، ولكن يبدو وأن بقاءه في أستون فيلا محل شك كبير.

وبحسب التقرير أن نادي باشاك شهير يرغب بشدة في ضم تريزيجيه ويقترب من التوصل لاتفاق مع أستون فيلا لإبرام الصفقة رسميًا.

عقد باشاك شهير وفقًا لصحيفة “فاناتيك” اجتماعًا مع وكيل تريزيجيه بعد الحصول على موافقة اللاعب، ليقترب من العودة مرة أخرى إلى الدوري التركي.

لعب تريزيجيه في تركيا مع فريق قاسم باشا خلال الفترة من 2017 حتى 2019 قبل الانتقال إلى أستون فيلا مقابل 10 ملايين يورو.

Liverpool face a key clash in the race for Champions League football on Saturday as they welcome Aston Villa to Anfield.

Jurgen Klopp’s Reds have won their last two Premier League games against Wolverhampton Wanderers and Arsenal but were defeated in their last outing, a 3-1 reverse at the hands of Real Madrid in the Champions League on Tuesday.

Could Klopp elect to make many changes for his starting line-up following that defeat?

With the second leg against Los Blancos not taking place until Wednesday, there should only be slight alterations for Saturday’s clash.

None of those aforementioned changes should occur in defence, where Alisson is set to be shielded by Trent Alexander-Arnold, Nathaniel Phillips, Ozan Kabak and Andrew Robertson.

One slight tweak will likely occur in midfield, where Naby Keita should be replaced by Thiago Alcantara. The Guinean international had a torrid time in Madrid, eventually being substituted after 42 minutes, so he certainly would not have justified any selection against Villa.

Eduardo Barroca, técnico que recentemente conquistou o Brasileirão Sub-20 pelo Botafogo, está no Chile como auxiliar técnico de Rogério Micale na Seleção Brasileira Sub-20. Ele é o terceiro profissional a participar do projeto da CBF de convidar técnicos para ajudar no trabalho de suas categorias na Seleção.

Antes de Barroca, André Jardine, do São Paulo, e Fábio Matias, do Internacional, estiveram com a Sub-20 e a Sub-17, respctivamente.

Já há 11 dias concentrado com a Seleção Sub-20, Barroca avalia a experiência como positiva. Para ele, a possibilidade de acompanhar mais de perto o trabalho realizado pela CBF aumenta a referência para o desenvolvimento dos jogadores no clube.

– Na hora de transferir esse conhecimento para o clube, a gente consegue trazer a realidade do que acontece na Seleção. Isso vai facilitar muito neste processo – explicou Barroca.
