According to journalist Ekrem Konur, Tottenham Hotspur, and by extension managing director Fabio Paratici, have lodged an offer to sign Shakhtar Donetsk defender Dodo – and they have already received a reply.

It is explained by the journalist that Tottenham’s bid has been rejected as Shakhtar rate him at around €40m (£34m).

Along with Spurs, Bayern Munich lodged a bid of their own amounting to roughly €25m (£21.2m), with that offer also being rejected outright.

The Verdict: Move on…

Given that Spurs are also eyeing moves for Pau Torres and Lautaro Martinez (The Times), we advise Paratici to move on from this chase if £34m is indeed the price for Dodo.

Stepping up talks for Tomiyasu to play as a right-back is arguably far more fruitful, considering that he would cost around half of that amount, according to Sky Sports.

Tottenham certainly cannot afford to splash such a huge amount on that position if they wish to add a potent attacker like Martinez or Dusan Vlahovic.

O autor da decisão que bloqueou os bens é o desembargador José Roberto Portugal Compasso, da 9ª Câmara Cível. No texto, ele considera que a ação retrata “fatos verossímeis, que consubstanciam ilicitudes ocorridas na licitação de obra realizada no Maracanã, desde a elaboração do projeto básico, passando pelo projeto executivo (delegação sem decisão administrativa fundamentada e desvinculação do projeto básico), havendo indícios de inadequação aos valores praticados no mercado, duplicidade de mão de obra nas composições dos serviços, serviços e coeficiente de produtividade majorados, fiscalização deficiente com existência custos elevados sem causas determinantes”.

O desembargador ainda acrescenta que, “havendo indícios de irregularidades dos envolvidos e evidenciado o prejuízo à Administração, impõem-se as medidas necessárias para assegurar a futura reparação do dano, se a obrigação vier a se confirmar”.

Ou seja, o bloqueio é para garantir que, em caso de condenação, haja fundos suficientes para o pagamento de possíveis indenizações futuras.

Both teams brought competitive flair to an inconsequential match and, in the end, India A chased down the target with three wickets and four overs in hand to take some confidence into Friday’s final.India suffered a few hiccups during their run-chase. They lost their first three wickets for 70 before Rohit Sharma and Suresh Raina shared an 85-run stand for the fourth wicket, which turned the match India’s way. They lost a few more wickets but not direction and a cameo from Piyush Chawla helped them go past Australia’s total of 272.Both teams took the opportunity presented by the dead rubber to field experimental sides. Ravi Teja, Jaydev Shah and Wriddhiman Saha finally got a chance while Australia tinkered with their batting line-up and also rested Shaun Tait for the seamer Mark Cameron.Robin Uthappa had another chance to get out of his rut but Cameron was too quick and the opener lost his off stump. Shah had the licence to attack and he made room and swung hard at wide deliveries to kick start the innings. كشفت تقارير صحفية إيطالية، أن نادي يوفنتوس توصل لاتفاق مع أنخيل دي ماريا بشأن التعاقد مع اللاعب الأرجنتيني خلال فترة الانتقالات الصيفية الجارية.

دي ماريا الذي انتهى عقده بعد 7 سنوات مع باريس سان جيرمان بنهاية الموسم الماضي، في مفاوضات مع يوفنتوس منذ عدة أشهر.
